Call for Registration
ACostE will be celebrating its 50th anniversary, with a two day Conference and Dinner in Coventry (the West Midlands area of the Country) on the 2nd and 3rd of November 2011 (the week after the Region 2 Meeting)
This is a very special year for the ACostE as we are celebrating half a century of representing the wide diversity of disciplines, which make up the Cost Engineering and Project Controls profession.
To this end, we would like to take this opportunity of inviting all members, and others with an interest in Cost Engineering and Project Controls, to attend the two-day Annual Conference to be held this year on the 2nd – 3rd November at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.
We have put together a very comprehensive array of presentations and structured learned workshops that will be of interest to all those in Cost Engineering and Project Controls. On the first day the Prestige Lecture will be given by Tim Banfield, Director, National Audit Office on ‘Estimators and decision-makers: making the marriage work’, and we have prominent speakers from industry and academia. These include presentations from BAE Systems and Jaguar Land Rover, presentations by The Assessment Service Centre (TASC) on the new QCF Diploma which replaces the NVQ qualifications, and the development of routes for tiered accreditation through the ACostE .
