Overview

This section of the ICEC website includes links to various internal ICEC documents for the information of ICEC delegates and member associations.

Some of these documents are password protected. If you think that you might be entitled to view these documents but do not know the password please email the ICEC Secretariat (secretariat@icoste.org). Please include the name of the member association that you are affiliated with and your position in that organisation in your email. Terms of Reference (Job Description) for ICEC Delegates

Introduction
The governing body of the International Cost Engineering Council is referred to as the Council. The Council consists of the ICEC Executive and one Delegate named by each ICEC Member organization. Member organizations are encouraged to name an Alternate Delegate with authority to serve as Delegate in the absence of the official Delegate and to assist the official Delegate as appropriate.

ICEC Communications Guidelines

 

PREFACE

The International Cost Engineering Council is an organization of associations, not individuals, and thus its official communications with the member associations are with the designated representatives of each association not directly with the individual members of the associations. Recognizing the advent of worldwide electronic and other systems for virtually instantaneous communication such as the “Project and Cost Forum” on CompuServe which has been established by AACE International and similar systems under consideration by other ICEC member organizations, the International Cost Engineering Council has established the following guidelines for the use of electronic and written communications in connection with ICEC activities:

Requirements for Membership

International Cost Engineering Council is a worldwide confederation of national and international associations of serving the cost engineering, quantity surveying, and project management professions.

ICEC does not have individual members. Participation in ICEC affairs is accomplished through membership in one of the ICEC affiliated societies. Persons interested in membership, should apply to one of the ICEC member associations which serve their nation of residence.
